This is our most favorite river to fish which is the Poplar River.This river is just north of lutsen, MN and flows into good old lake superior.In this river there is rainbow trout and brook trout which are two really fun fish to catch. This river is great for salmon in the fall and good for steelhead in the spring. The Poplar river holds Minnesota's state record chinook salmon which weighed a whopping 33lbs. and 4oz. If i where you I would give this river a try. |
